Aim: Understand the polytechnical nature of bioengineering in the pharmaceutical industry, where the interaction between theoretical considerations and rational explorative experimentation (screening) is one cornerstone, multidisciplinary team work another; and understand how regulatory affairs (GLP, GMP) and patent issues interact with the bioengineering effort.
Contents: Research and production processes in the biological-medical industries. Subjects that are specific for hospital and quality control laboratories in the biochemical industries.
