Aim: The aim of the course is to provide the student with thorough knowledge as well as practical skills in those parts of mathematics that are useful in chemical engineering and to provide the student with a conceptual understanding of mathematics and with some skills in mathematical reasoning.
Contents: Extremum for function of several variables. Implicit differentiation. Double integral, line integral and exact differential. Laplace transforms, and their application to systems of differential equations and to differential equations having delays.
