Aim: The aim of the course is to give the students a basic knowledge of Labour market, occupational safety and health, problems of pollution and limited ressources. To support later compulsory and optional courses in Organization, Air Pollution and Practical Experience in Industry.
Contents: Classroom lessons in: A. Labour legislation and the organizations of the labour-market. Job design in connection to technology and production process. Psychological working environment as a function of organizational structures and of style of management. B. Legislation of occupational safety and health and of chemicals. Chemical and physical factors of working environment. Toxicology. Risk analysis. C. Origin, emission, damage and limitation of pollution. Use of energy resources and influence on air pollution.
