Department: Informatics and Mathematical Modelling
Aim: To give a general introduction to digital image processing and analysis, and to enable participation in advanced image processing and analysis activities at the involved departments.
Contents: Digital images and data structures, display and color, image aquisition using camera and radar, geometric operations, Fourier transform, image filtering, distance transformations, connected component analysis, mathematical morphology, segmentation, classification, texture analysis, stereo and 3D-measurements, image coding and compression, and dynamic vision.
