Department: Informatics and Mathematical Modelling
Aim: To solve a digital signal processing problem by using Matlab or signal microprocessors.
Contents: Based on the subjects treated in 04361 Digital Signal Processing, each group of two students selects a project. Examples of projects are: Spectral analysis, correlation, Wiener filtering, adaptive filtering, multirate and multidimensional filtering, application of signal microprocessors. The algorithm neccesary for solving the problem selected is designed, implemented and tested on a computer or a signal microprocessor. E.g., the algorithm can be tested on speech or medical signals. Each group of students prepares a report.
