Aim: To ensure international students at the MSc Env. Eng. Programme the required foundation on environmental chemical processes.

Contents: Redox-processes and environmental chemistry, reactor hydrolics and reactor dynamics, alcalinity, carbonatesystem and other important buffer systems, biological systemssuch as aerobic degradation, nitrification, denitrification and biological phosphorous removal.
