Aim: (1) to achieve a better understanding of how physical and reactive processes affect solute transport in groundwater and (2) to develop and apply numerical reactive transport codes to contaminant groundwater problems.
|
Contents: Numerical methods for solving geochemical (equilibrium) and biodegradation (kinetic) reactions. Numerical methods for coupling these reactions to solute transport. Development and verification of reactive transport codes including application to Laboratory experiments field- and laboratory experiments.
