Aim: Through the hydraulic and hydrodynamic problems to teach the students to use the measuring equipment in ISVA's laboratory and to get acquainted with one of ISVA's research areas.
|
Contents: The course involves the students in on-going research projects, which include experiments in the laboratory. On an existing research set-up a series of measurements is performed and evaluated as an attempt to reach the necessary insight in the research project (literature, calculation results and methods). The research area comprises projects within offshore, coastal engineering, sediment transport, environmental hydraulics, and hydrology.
