Aim: To give the students an insight into the fundamental principles of electronics and digital electronics, by means of giving a description of analog and digital circuits and components on the basis of Kirchhoff's laws and the Boolean algebra.

Contents: Simple resistive circuits. RC circuits. Diodes and transistors. Ideal operational amplifier circuits. TTL and CMOS logics. Timercircuits with astable, monostable and Schmitttrigger principles. Combinationel circuits and finite-state machines. Number systems and codes. Digital to analog and analog to digital converters.
