Aim: To present the theoretical basis of chemical kinetics and catalysis, so that the participants can use these basic concepts in the planning and operation of industrial chemical processes.
|
Contents: Basic kinetic concepts, analysis of kinetic results, energy of activation, theories of reaction rates, elementary gas-phase reactions, elementary reactions in solution, reactions on surfaces and heterogeneous catalysis, composite reactions, homogeneous catalysis and coordination catalysis.
