Aim: To illustrate the theory taught in the course Chemical reactor design (36221) by experimental exercises with accompanying calculations.
|
Contents: The operation of different chemical and catalytic reactors are investigated experimentally: e.g. the isomerization of glucose in a fixed bed reactor, the transient startup of an adiabatic tank reactor, residence time distribution, and reactors with multiple steady states. The experimental results are analysed theoretically on the basis of the theory thaught in the course in chemical reactor design. (36221). In addition statistical error theory and parameter estimation is included.
