Aim: To give students experience in application of methods and theory while solving a practical engineering problem during an internship outside DTU.

Contents: Solving an engineering problem and writing a report about the placement. Before the placement starts, the company, the supervisor and the student agree on the contents of the problem to be solved.

The student must find an academic supervisor at DTU and a company for the internship. The supervisor must accept the problem to be solved, and submit it for approval in the Study Board 4 weeks before the internship starts.
