Aim: To give an introduction to the mathematical formulation and treatment of problems concerning time varying fields, in particular fields with sinusoidal variations with time, and to solve simple problems within these areas.

Contents: Maxwell's equations, plane waves, reflection, transmission, transmission lines, Smith Chart, waveguides and resonators, antennas, transmission formulas, S-parameters.
