Aim: To give the students a field-theory based understanding of antennas, which enables them to employ professional tools for analysis and design. Furthermore to provide practical experience through project work.
|
|
Contents: Electromagnetic sources, method of images, equivalence principles,wire antennas, aperture antennas, horn antennas, reflector antennas, array theory, slotted waveguide antennas, microstrip antennas. Analysis- and design methods for one or more of the above types of antennas will be investigated. The project work concerns analysis, desígn, and measurement of antennas.
