Aim: To let the student work together with other students (2-3 students in a group).
The group designs and implements a database system.
Contents: ER- model and EER- model for relational databases, normalization, relational keys, integrity, security. Conceptual and logical database design. Queries - SQL- and QBE. Frontend design: forms and report. Use of case tools for database design, forward- and reverse engineering. Database programming.
