Aim: The course gives the students an opportunity to work with pilot scale unit operations and to measure, evaluate, calculate, and formally report and discuss the results.

Contents: The following operations are covered: - Filtration on a filter press - Fluidization, water/solids - Climbing film evaporation - Binary destillation, batch and packed column - Drying - Absorbtion in packed column.
