Aim: To provide the student with a knowledge of the principles and methods used in a quatitative description of hydrocarbon reservoirs, so that the student should be able to understand and discuss geological and petrophysical data and interpretations in relation to exploration for and development of hydrocarbon reservoirs.
Contents: Petrophysics, interpretation of well logs and core data, interpretation of seismic data, reserve estimates, description of reservoir rocks.
