Aim: To provide knowledge of inorganic chemical processes in aqueous solutions and in the gas phase. To practise calculations of systems in chemical equilibrium.

Contents: Law of mass action, gas phase equilibria, ionic equilibria in aqueous solutions, solubility equilibria, acid-base equilibria, pH calculations, buffer systems, complex equilibria, acid-base titrations, thermochemistry, electrochemistry.
