Aim: To introduce advanced theories and numerical methods for computing water levels and currents in coastal regions.
Contents: Unsteady flows, tides, storm surges. Analysis of finite difference equations. Development and use of numerical methods to problems in the coastal region. Introduction to 2D and 3D numerical models for hydrodynamics in the coastal region.
