Aim: (1) to obtain a thorough understanding of physical flow and transport processes in heterogeneous groundwater aquifers and (2) to develop and apply analytical and numerical codes for flow and transport.
|
Contents: Non-stationary flow, non-stationary flow to wells, numerical methods for solving groundwater flow equations, programming and application of two-dimensional flow models, geological heterogeneity, introduction to geostatistics, transport of dissolved solutes, advection and dispersion, solute transport modelling, flow and transport in fractures, density-dependent flow and mixing.
