Aim: (1) to achieve a better understanding of how physical and reactive processes affect solute transport in groundwater, (2) to develop and apply numerical reactive transport codes to contaminant groundwater problems, and (3) to carry out experiments with non-reactive solute transport.
|
Contents: Numerical methods for solving fx. geochemical (equilibrium) or biodegradation (kinetic) reactions. Numerical methods for coupling these reactions to solute transport. Development and verification of reactive transport codes including application to own laboratory experiments and other field- and laboratory experiments.
