Aim: Insight into the fundamental electronic circuit principles with digital
applications in mind. Insight into the locical backgrounds of digital
techniques. Skills in construction of simple digital circuits and systems.
Contents: Kirchhoff's rules and basic circuit methods. 1st order transients.
Diodes and transistors. OpAmps. Logical gates. Boolean algebra.
Combinational circuits. Bistable elements. Sequential circuits and state
machines. Common MSI components. Number systems and codes. Timers. D/A and
A/D converters.
